The teen, who was not ID'd because of his age, is charged with theft of a motor vehicle and criminal mischief in the first degree, Norwalk police said.

The Norwalk Engineering Department used the 2010 Crown Victoria — the same model of cars police use —and it was last seen parked at city hall on Thursday, Oct. 10, authorities said. But on Saturday, Oct. 19, officers went to break up a street takeover and found the car in the middle of the action.

The teenager was arrested and taken to a juvenile detention center in Bridgeport, authorities said.
